I enjoyed reading this book so much, that now that I have finished it, I am sad. I am going to miss the main character "CAT" along with a number of other characters in the book. The author, Joel Erik Thompson, writes in such a way that allows you to understand & know the people he is writing about. They are not just characters in a book, they become very real. At the same time he shares insight into being a criminal defense attorney & the courtroom. I'm not much with flowery words but I cannot tell you enough how much I enjoyed this book and the way the author writes. I can hardly wait till the 2nd book comes out. There has to be a sequel!
